Once upon a time, in fact, over four hundred years ago in the very quiet and rural village of Prestwood, Mr. Hildreth the blacksmith opened for business and started trading with a quality service delivered at a fair price. Over the centuries successive Mr Hildreths have improved and passed the family business to the next generation and today Richard Hildreth XIII welcomes you to his ironmongery, hardware, fine china, glassware and garden centre, which still remains a family-run business.
